Brief Artist Biography:

Heather Jones has an MFA in Fine Arts and has been teaching art for 12 years. Currently she is teaching at Genesee Community College. As an artist, she continues to make her own sculptural artwork and paintings.  Heather has been professionally painting murals for the past six years. She works on independent commissions and in collaboration with the painting company C & S Brush. Her work has included children's murals, decorative residential murals, and corporate murals. Heather has a fine arts background and her murals reflect this; utilizing a variety of paint techniques, textural brushstrokes, and design qualities. She also has training in theatre set painting/design, including large scale paint techniques and creating scenery illusions.
