“Art serves as a powerful form of communication and the expression of ideas. An artist is a storyteller, visually defining a concept with the decisions of color, texture, line, visual metaphor, and symbolism. These elements accumulate into the visual expression of an idea. I create visual stories through my sculptures and paintings. Often my artwork is focused on nature and environmental issues. I am interested in the story, mythology, and folklore that inter-twines nature/science with society.”
